Meet Your Teacher

Outside of the classroom, I’m someone who really values spending time with family and friends, staying active, and enjoying the outdoors. I love hiking, fishing, watching movies, and exploring new places and experiences. I’ve always enjoyed learning beyond the classroom, and that carries over into who I am as an educator. I love finding ways to connect what students are learning in school to the world around them, whether that means nature, their communities, their interests, or everyday experiences. I believe some of the most meaningful learning happens when students can see how what they are learning connects to life outside of school.
